Explore the menus
Shelter opens the map. Animals lists profiles. Rescue shows reports. Use Build for facilities and land, Team for staff, Adoption for families, and Community for supplies and campaigns.
Set the pace
Drag the map to explore. Pinch with two fingers or use the mouse wheel to zoom. Tap animals, staff, trees, and facilities to inspect their options. The clock runs in real time while you play: one real minute equals one shelter minute. There are no pause or fast-forward controls.
On mobile, drag inside panels to scroll. For the web version, use landscape orientation to make the most of the shelter view.
Before your first rescue
You start with 1,800 coins. Keep some funds for supplies and wages. Treatments and vaccinations require a vet clinic or surgical suite and an active veterinarian on your team.
Follow the tutorial and milestones: they award resources as you learn to manage the shelter.
