Avatars, friends and visits
New in version 0.4.0.
Your character
Open Shelter → My avatar & friends to choose one of eight characters and edit your public name. Your avatar walks around the shelter with your name overhead. Changes save locally and synchronize when connected. Your login and email do not change.
A moment of affection
Tap a resident and choose Spend a quiet moment together. In an open spot, the resident approaches your avatar, who bends down; a heart rises between them. Both then resume their routines. Works offline.
Explore other shelters
In Friends & visits, copy your public ID or search a friend’s ID. Send, accept or decline requests. Visit shelters through friends or rankings while signed in. Visits show the last synchronized state, not a live feed. You can pan and zoom but cannot interact or make changes. Choose Return to my shelter to leave.
Camera and clock
The zoom limit increased from 1.65 to 3.2. The HUD clock follows the server in Brasilia time (UTC-3). Offline, it continues from the stored reference; before the first connection it uses device time provisionally. Clock corrections do not retrigger simulation events.
