Rescue & transport
From the report to a safe arrival.
What do you need?
- An available space in a facility suitable for the species.
- An active rescue worker with no mission or delivery in progress.
- An available vehicle.
- Enough coins for the displayed transport expense.
Dispatching the team reserves a space for the animal. Reservations already count toward occupancy.
Arriving at the shelter
After the journey, the worker carries the animal from the vehicle to its facility. During this trip, the worker is still unavailable for another rescue. Wait for delivery before moving the reserved facility.
If every vehicle is busy, wait for a mission to finish. Buying another vehicle requires space: each vehicle bay allows one additional vehicle beyond the initial one.
Why can’t I dispatch?
First check the species and occupancy, including reserved spaces. Then check that the rescue worker is active and has finished delivery, a vehicle is free, and your balance covers transport. The game’s message identifies the missing requirement.
Attempts and success chance
Before this update every rescue succeeded; difficulty only affected duration. The menu now shows the calculated chance for the selected crew and vehicle. Your first rescue is guaranteed. Later chances range from 45% to 98%.
Higher difficulty reduces the chance; rescuer skill and better vehicles help. Each previous attempt adds 6 percentage points, within the cap; failure also gives the rescuer 2 skill points. Each dispatch charges transport. A failed report remains available to retry without creating an animal or adding a rescue to the leaderboard.
The outcome is rolled on dispatch and preserved in the save. The van leaves the shelter and returns; the road follows land expansion.
